Wow, it’s been a hot minute since I last blogged a session! I started going through my previous posts, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t yet blogged this one!
I was so excited when Lisa contacted me about a maternity session. She and I met many moons ago, while we both worked at a PR firm in Sydney, 8 years ago now. Wow, that makes me feel old. Well, so does saying ‘many moons ago’, actually… 👵🏼
Lisa is honestly one of the loveliest people you could meet. I remember when I first started at the PR firm, Lisa was warm and welcoming – the type of person that instantly makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I’d missed our chats and her happy, smiling face, so I was looking forward to catching up with her and meeting her beautiful family.
Her two little girls Emilija and Georgia were spunky little monkeys, keeping us on our toes throughout the session. You can tell by looking at these photos that they’re full of personality; not to mention boundless energy! And now they have another gorgeous girl, Elena, to add more energy to the mix! This family is just bursting with love and laughter, and I loved being able to capture that.
I knew I missed shooting family sessions, but going through these photos has really hit home just how much. I honestly have SO much fun doing it, and look, I know all us photographers say this, but I’ma say it again – I feel so bloody lucky that this is my job, and that I love it as much as I do. It makes my heart sing! And it’s my aim to create that same feeling for my clients when they look back on their photos from our time together.
