Lake Macquarie newborn photography

Remember Evarna and Dylan from that beautiful beach maternity session? Silly question, of course you do! I can’t believe I haven’t gotten around to blogging their newborn session – it’s one of my favourites!

I remember waiting for the exciting baby news, and Evarna’s due date came and went, but little bub was comfy where they were, staying inside Mum’s tum, for a little bit longer than predicted (nearly two weeks!). Then there was a day where I had a sudden feeling that bub had arrived, and that it was a boy. I messaged Evarna to see if bub had come yet, and he had! Oxley arrived precisely when he wanted to, and just as perfect as his mum and dad expected. A week later, I got to meet the adorable addition to the family, and yep, can confirm – a little bundle of perfection.

Swipe to see this cutie a year ago. Why do they grow so fast, I am not ok with it! 🥺
Also, little Joey made me work hard for a smile, Mr Serious was on a mission to explore this time (and not be picked up, thanks very much mum and dad), but we squeezed a few out of him 🥰
My sessions always try to follow the flow of your kiddos. If they want to run and jump and splash through the water, that’s fine! We do whatever keeps them happy. My focus is on capturing you as a family and the connection you all have. The more you engage with each other, and the less you care about me and my camera - the better! 💃
Lille looks so stoked to finally be in mum and dad Lille looks so stoked to finally be in mum and dad’s arms! Working on this gallery today, and what a cute face to stare at for the next little while 🥰

This gallery is next in my editing queue, and as I was having a quick scroll through the shots I took, well ... this image just stopped me in my tracks 😍

The Easter Bunny came around early this year, due to family members having other Easter weekend plans. It was going to be the *only* visit, but when Grace woke yesterday morning, so excited to see if he’d visited our house (with visible ‘footprints’ around the house last year) I had to quickly say that he was making an early stop at Aunty Meg’s on Friday and that he would be hopping by our place on Sunday 😅 🐰
Thankfully she found so many eggs in the early Easter Egg hunt, I was able to poach some from her stash to hide around the yard tomorrow and she will be none the wiser 🥸
