So on this afternoon, I got to hang out with not just one, but three O’Malley families! Lucky me!
You might recognise Cass, Andrew and their two boys Lewis and Dylan, from a previous blog from Tea Gardens earlier this year (of course you recognise them, you’re a big fan of my work and eagerly anticipate each blog post, right?).
Our visits to see them aren’t as frequent as we’d like due to distance and well, life, so it was nice to have a little bonus time with not only them, but Andrew’s parents Katrina and Steven, and his brother Grant, his wife Ashleigh and their son Bailey. I love it when the grandparents come along on a shoot, and it’s such a good gift idea! (Hint, hint).
What more could they love (perhaps other than a European river cruise) than having some special moments with their cute grandbabies captured for framing! Beats the plain old school photo any day, as they actually get to be a part of memory!
Win win.
So you might not be able to tell, but Lewis wasn’t heaps keen to have his photos taken. Mate don’t worry, I totally get it! Having to stand still is boring (not to mention you became an easy target for the millions of mozzies that were out), and playing is so much more fun! I soon won him over and that beautiful smile was back on his face.
I love it when the kids realise that during a session with me, they can relax and be themselves, and that they’re allowed to play! After we snap the shot for Nan and Pop’s wall, it’s game on – run and around and tire yourself out to your heart’s content! I’m sure your parents would love that too 😉
Make sure you scroll to the end to see the expressions on the boys’ faces as I sent my drone up in the air – SO FLIPPIN’ CUTE!
